A love in Sydney, a love in a foreign land. What happens when a top female star meets a young and promising photographer in a foreign place? Short, sweet love. On the 5th March, Choi Jung Won and Baek Sung Hyun attended the Star Hwabo +short film “Sydney In Love” media conference at Seoul Kang Nam CGV theater.

Sydney In Love” is a short 7 minutes film about the chance encounter between a top Korean actress and a young photographer in studying in Sydney. Choi Jung Won plays this top actress who decides to leave for Sydney in order to erase her memories for her first love, who has left her without a word. For Baek Sung Hyun, he plays a  student working part-time in a Chinese restaurant with the aspiration to become the world’s best photographer. During the preparation for his own photography exhibition “Sydney In Love”, he meets Choi Jung Won and thus invites her to be his model.

The plot is probably too cliche, but I like the direction here and how the movie was filmed. The entire film is shown in a series of photo stills and motion videos. Short and sweet I would say. But I think Choi Jung Won is little old for Baek Sung Hyun or you can say Baek Sung Hyun is too young for Choi Jung Won. They have an age difference of 8 years! Still quite compatible though.
