Actor Bae Yong-jun will meet with his Japanese fans through satellite TV.
Bae’s management agency said a large-scale fan event entitled “Christmas with Family – Although We’re Far Apart” will be held at the Yokohama Arena on December 14. The event will be broadcast via satellite coverage and link Bae with his fans in Japan.
Hallyu singer Ryu, Kang Cheol and Woo Sung-min will take part in the event. The special year-end event will also feature never-before-seen footage of Bae’s everyday life in Japan during his recent promotional visit.
Twelve thousand tickets were sold out almost immediately after ticket sales began.

Popular female recording artist Lee Hyo-ri will hold her first solo concert since her debut at the Seoul Jamsil Stadium on December 20.
Her management agency, MNet Media, said Lee is determined to “blow her fans away” with a powerful concert–her first concert as a solo artist since her debut with the group Finkl in 1998.
Lee’s third studio album “It’s Hyorish,” which was released in July, has sold 800,000 copies. The tracks “U-Go-Girl” and “Hey Mr.Big” have topped numerous online and offline charts.
Lee currently stars in “Here Comes the Family,” a popular segment on SBS TV’s “Good Sunday.”

Popular female recording artist BoA, who recently made her U.S. debut, will make her appearance in a ‘YouTube Live’ event organized by YouTube. The event is a large-scale live relay concert that will take place in San Francisco, United States and in Tokyo, Japan from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on November 23. World-renowned artists will take part in the event by performing live, and YouTube users will also participate in the special event.
Popular artists including Akon, Will.I.AM from the Black Eyed Peas, and Esmee Denters will perform in the first part of the concert that will take place in San Francisco from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The second part of the concert, which will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Tokyo, will feature BoA, Blue Man Group and Kreva.
BoA will open up the Japan concert by performing her U.S. debut number “Eat You Up.”
