When asked about her kiss with So Ji Sub, Chae Jung Ahn smiled shyly and said: “The kiss was heart-warming.”
Chae Jung Ahn is one of the female leads in the new SBS wed/thurs drama “Cain And Abel” (the other being Han Ji Min) that will debut tomorrow (18th). During an interview with IS PLUS on the 14th, she revealed her thoughts on her first collaboration with So Ji Sub. Her romantic kiss scene with So Ji Sub which appeared in the 8 minutes long trailer released last week also aroused viewers’ curiosity.
Chae Jung Ahn said: “So Ji Sub and I are of the same age, both born in 1977. We already addressed each other as “friend/buddy” the first time we went for a drink. As a Korean star, So Ji Sub is very popular in Japan. Henceforth, he spoke to me in Japanese in a jokingly manner and even said that he wanted to teach me the language. Then I addressed him by his role name Cho In. All in all, the day’s atmosphere was pretty harmonious.”
When touched on the kiss scene between both of them, Chae Jung Ahn became more talkative. She said: “The scene was set to be very romantic. Therefore, we tried to create this romantic feeling during our kiss scene. I was trembling a little at that moment. My kiss with So Ji Sub was short, hence, the thought of purposely creating NGs had crossed my mind as well.”
This kiss scene will appear in the debuting episode (first episode) where song composer Seo Yeon (Chae Jung Ahn) released the song written by Cho In (So Ji Sub) for the first time and accepted his love confession.
Chae Jung Ahn said: “Both Cho In and his brother Sun Woo (Shin Hyun Joon) love Seo Yeon. Now thanks to the role, I’m finally able to get a taste of being chased by many and a chance to act alongside handsome actors in this drama.
